FOUNDER
BERNARD FINAS
Bernard FINAS, a French citizen, is a graduate of the École Polytechnique (X), of the École Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Économique (ENSAE) and an Actuary of the French Institute of Actuaries. Since 2010 Bernard FINAS has contributed to many academic and business projects related to weather risk management with a focus on the application of science and technologies to risk transfer. He was awarded from ENSAE in 2011 the prize of the best final year project for his actuarial thesis on wind risk hedging that was supported by a global reinsurance broker. He worked successively in IT, energy, reinsurance, agriculture and brokerage sectors before founding Jola in 2018.
